Go to Alerting → Integrations → New Integration → SMS. Enter the recipient phone number in international format (e.g. +14155552671) and a descriptive name.

Verify delivery

Click Test to send a sample SMS. Confirm it arrives on the target phone. If it does not arrive within 60 seconds, check the number format and ensure it is a mobile number capable of receiving texts.
