Can I use a custom domain for my status page?

Yes. Pro and Business plans support custom domains for status pages. You point a CNAME record from your subdomain (e.g. status.yourapp.com) to Nodown, and we handle SSL provisioning automatically. Your users see your brand, not ours.

Can I password-protect my status page?

Yes. Nodown supports password-protected status pages for internal teams. You set a password and share it with your team. This lets you maintain an internal ops status page alongside a public-facing one, without exposing internal service names or metrics.

How do incident updates work on a status page?

Nodown uses a structured incident workflow: Investigating, Identified, Monitoring, and Resolved. At each stage, you post a status update that immediately appears on your public status page. Subscribers who opted in receive an email notification at each update, keeping your users informed without requiring them to refresh the page.
