Add the integration in Nodown
Go to Alerting → Integrations → New Integration → Email. Enter the recipient email address and give the integration a descriptive name, such as the address or team it belongs to.

Verify delivery
Click Test to send a sample alert email. Check the recipient inbox and spam folder to confirm delivery. Add [email protected] to your contacts or allowlist to prevent filtering.

Assign to monitors
In each monitor's settings, attach the email integration under Alert Channels. Repeat for as many monitors as needed.

- Can I send alerts to multiple email addresses?
- Yes. Create a separate email integration for each address. You can also use a distribution list or team alias as the recipient to reach multiple people with a single integration.
- Will I get an email when the monitor recovers?
- Yes. Nodown sends a recovery email when the monitor returns to healthy status, including the total downtime duration. Recovery emails can be configured to go to a different address from incident alerts.
- Can I use email alerts to create tickets in Jira or Zendesk?
- Yes. Most ticketing systems support email-to-ticket creation. Enter the system's inbound email address as the Nodown email integration recipient, and incidents automatically create tickets in your workflow.
